I stand at the crossroad between technology, design & the arts, and humanities. The mission of explaining the meaning of things and solving real-life problems motivates me to explore endless possibilities in the world of Interactive Digital Media by making pieces from Extended Reality & Virtual Worlds to Interactive Environment, using technologies & tools including JavaScript and its frameworks, Max/MSP/Jitter, Processing, Hubs & Spoke, Motion Capture with systems such as Motive, along with human-centered design thinkings & creativities.

RESEARCH
An Augmented Reality (AR) Real-time Data Visualization Framework for Immersive Multimedia Experiences
Our goal is to design and implement a distributed particle rendering framework for mixed-reality 3D data visualization to bridge mobile mixed-reality devices with a 2D immersive screen-based stage environment.
Paper title: Characterizing Bottlenecks towards a Hybrid Integration of Holographic, Mobile, and Screen-based Data Visualization
Presented at Immersive Analytics @ IEEE VIS 2017
Summer research at Meteor Studio @ Arizona State University
…about this research project from our paper and the video demos of the latest progress and use cases.
GT VR Tour
Location-Based Virtual Reality Campus Tour
The VR experience offers an intuitive and immersive perspective of the campus, along with information on hot spots and tourist attractions that helps people to learn Georgia Tech’s history and campus culture & tradition, which results in a fun, efficient, and interactive information visualization and story-telling.

The Herberger Experience
Marker-Based Augmented Reality Information Presentation
A new way to explore the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts. While walking around Herberger, you may wonder what this room/lab/facility/instructor is about. There is always an AR marker with a QR code. Just scan the code and marker using your phone and tablet, and the Herberger Experience will tell the story by showing you the information you need in Augmented Reality.
